The chid pose is a great way to learn yoga at home. Back and neck pain can be relieved, the brain can be calmed and tension relieved, and the hips, calves, and ankles can be toned.
Get yourself relaxed by sitting with your legs hip-width apart with your big toes touching.
Raise your chest, bend your elbows, and lower your head to the floor.
Place your hands in front of you and slide them out. Making this a more involved stretch by moving your fingertips palms up, elbows off the ground, and shoulder blades down. You could sink deeper into the stretch with each breath. Hold for five to ten breaths in this position. You’ll sink deeper into the stretch with each breath. For five to ten breaths, stay in the pose.
